I'm working on VASSAL modules for BCS:Anzio/Cassino and SWWAS:Coral Sea.

I'm also working on a VW Gaming Calendar service which I plan to add to the VWC Lobby (along with a new layout of the page and a VWC specific chatroom/service). Also putting a VWC android application together (debugging it at the moment).

Most Excellent!

I've been playing WSR with Mike O as well (been 2-3 weeks since our last). We've been playtesting an Arnhem Campaign he got from one of the LnL folks.

I am playing a game of Paths of Glory with a German friend, using VASSAL and ACTS. The game is running for about 2 months now and we are in Winter turn of 1916. I am playing the Central Powers and concenctrated mainly on getting to Total War as fast as possible and being ready for the Italian and Romanian entry in the Great War. Now I reached Total War, I will open the offensive on the Western front.
My opponent had to interrupt the game for a few weeks, so I started playing Ardennes '44. Have been reading the rules and am playing my first testgame solo now. To make this learning process a lot more interesting I am handling it as a historical study, I started the campaign as historical as possible, making all the initial assaults as happend on the 16 of December '44 (I'm reading Battle of the Bulge written by Danny S. Parker, which gives a very detailed day-to-day account of all the important actions in this campaign). As soon as I have all the game mechanics under my thumb I will restart my solo game. Ardennes '44 will be used for the campaign simulation, but the important battles will be fought using ASL.

I would encourage everyone to share their VWC game-related news here, just to give Rick feedback that the site is being helpful.

Rick and I have just enjoyed a great game of Tigers in the Snow (Memoir '44 overlord format battlemap) over two nights VF2F using Vassal. We plan to play more games soon.

Mike Owen and I have just started turn 6 of Shifting Sands on Vassal PBEM.

What are you playing?

Phil.
